  12th Annual Gatorman Triathlon will be start at

Course

 
  Swim 1000 meters, out & back course, paralleling seawall
Water temperature usually 72 to 76 degrees.
 
  Bike 33K (21 miles): 3-lap downtown and lakefront course. Course is flat & fast.  
  Run  6 K (3.72 miles): 2-lap flat course along residential lakefront.

  CHAMPIONCHIP TIMING will be provided by ChampionChip MidSouth  
  2003 and 2004 USA Triathlon National Sprint Championship for individuals and relays will be contested over this course.

SPORTS MASSAGE

 
  Each triathlete is entitled to a free sports massage after the race, given by the Louisiana Institute of Massage Therapy.  There will be plenty of students and instructors on hand to soothe your muscles.  
Packet pickup  
  At the race site along the west coliseum concourse of the Lake Charles Civic Center, on October 2nd, from 4pm to 8pm. Pre-race meetings will be held at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm to discuss the details of the course and rules for racing. Attendance is highly recommended. Late registration will also be provided at that time.  Late packet pickup will be available race starting at 6:30am. NO RACE MORNING REGISTRATION!
